It is my sad duty to report the death of Yan Ng. Yan died on Friday 3rd November, having lost his fight with an aggressive brain tumour.
Yan had been a member of Westfield Table Tennis Club for many years. He played for Westfield D in the second division of the Wellingborough League and was also a regular attendee of the Thursday night practise session. He was always happy when playing and always wanted to improve his game.
Myself and Yan's team mates attended his funeral earlier today. The service was a fitting tribute to a lovely person.
The family have setup a Just Giving page, with all donations going to Action Cancer Research.
The Club will miss you. Rest in peace.
