The Committee has decided to continue with the 'pay-as-you-play' membership for the coming season. Each visit to the club, whether league match, coaching or practise, should be booked and paid for in advance. We will have a Duty Manager in attendance to take contactless payments, but please help to reduce their workload by paying beforehand.
Membership for the coming season (which runs 1st September 2021 - 31st August 2022) is as follows.

With restrictions easing from next Monday (19th July), there will be no requirement to book into bubbles, so instead of booking a table, you just book yourself in to attend a session. There will be 30 slots available, which means the table tennis hall will be limited to 30 players and a maximum of 14 tables. Booking a slot is on a 'first come, first served' basis. You will also be able to turn up on the night and pay the Duty Manager (as we now have a card reader for contactless transactions), but please note that 30 is our absolute limit. If you arrive without having booked in and the session is full, you will not be able to play.

Hello
Having reviewed bookings since re-opening, the Committee has taken the decision to revise hire times. Despite offering a Covid-19 safe venue, the facilities offered have not been utilised as expected, especially Tuesdays, which would normally be a match night for most players in a normal season.

Hi All
I am extremely pleased to announce that Westfield Table Tennis Club will be re-opening tonight, Thursday 24th September 2020. We have introduced an on-line Booking and Membership system which will allow players to book and pay in advance for table hire and junior coaching sessions. This will remove our staff from having to handle cash; allow us to efficiently manage table allocation; manage attendee numbers in line with our risk assessment policy; and maintain records for 21 days for track and trace purposes. The system will allow players to book "bubbles" up to three tables allowing players known to each other to swap practice partners during their 90 minute sessions. It is simple to use but we recommend that you watch the 10 minute Getting Started video prior to registering on the new system. Unfortunately the video lacks any sound at the moment but it should be fairly clear in showing how to register as a non-member on the system, how to book a session and how to purchase a full membership. If you experience any problems using the system please feel free to email westfield@
For following weeks, on Mondays there will be junior coaching from 6pm-7.30pm and from 7.30-9.00pm for practice. On Tuesdays there will be two practice sessions available to book on from 7.00-8.30pm and 8.30-10.00pm and on Thursdays there will be two sessions available to book from 7.00-8.30pm and 8.30-10.00pm. There will be eight tables available to hire each evening which will allow us to configure and operate a COVID-19 safe environment under Table Tennis England guidelines. Players are required to clean the tables during the last 10 minutes of each session and, having done so, must leave the venue as soon as possible. Tables and barriers need to be cleaned and put away at the end of the evening. We will be providing cleaning fluid and paper towels to allow this to be undertaken.
I look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
